Our Story
At Seven Trees Cider we believe in crafting exceptional cider and perry that celebrate the natural flavours of the fruit we use.
Our nano-scale cidery is based in Tilehurst, Reading and we produce around 2,000 litres of local cider and a small amount of perry annually.
We select only the best fruit for our juice and harvest a range of culinary and dessert apples from Reading and across Berkshire, as well as having access to a small amount of Berkshire grown cider and perry varieties too.
We have developed a super relationship with the team that manage North Down Orchard near Crewkerne in Somerset and this gives us access to a beautiful range of traditional bittersweet, bittersharp, sharp and sweet cider apple varieties.
All our ciders are fermented slowly using naturally occurring wild yeasts which builds complexity of flavour. Our ciders are then blended before packaging into bottle or Bag-in-Box.
Our ciders and perries have achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at the prestigious British Cider Championships, the largest cider competition in the UK.
Being a Reading cider maker we are extremely proud to supply a range of pubs, bottle shops and festivals locally.
